Each Sprint the team selects a portion of the Backlog, decides on a Sprint Goal and commits to getting this iteration of work completed. “A good Scrum team realises they are better off finishing 5 product backlog items than being half done with 10”, Mike talks through the importance of ensuring work is done and the benefits from this.

This article reviews the topic of how the role of a Business Analyst varies and overlaps with Product Owner. Mike runs through the similarities and differences between the two and explains how the solution of the BA working as a supporter for the PO works well.

How much of the project communications you produce are written? I’d hazard a guess to say most of it. From emails to status reports, town hall presentations to slide decks for team webinars, most of what we churn out as project managers involves a lot of words. Icons are like words… in picture form!

This article first discusses the 4 stages of a team goes through in terms of Forming, Storming, Norming and Performing and highlights the importance of recognising each of these stages and being aware that they are in a constant state of flux.

Roman’s article identifies that whilst a Product Owner and the ScrumMaster are two separate agile roles, they should complement each other. Highlighting that a Product Owner need a strong ScrumMaster at their side (and vice versa), and If one is not played properly, the other suffers.

Here at LoansWithNoCreditCheck we love catching up with people's opinions and articles, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have something to share. You can contact us via email on [email protected] or on twitter
