Mike’s article describe an unfortunately all too common anti-pattern within projects attempting to follow agile methodologies. Phases of specification, design and testing all being planned in the context of consecutive sprints in one example creating an illusion of being agile, but in reality being what is commonly referred to as “Wagile”!

Roman’s article identifies that whilst a Product Owner and the ScrumMaster are two separate agile roles, they should complement each other. Highlighting that a Product Owner need a strong ScrumMaster at their side (and vice versa), and If one is not played properly, the other suffers.
